Insight

Having accomplished some video work in the live events industry, I have self-confidence when it comes to video production.

Roe video display builds - iMAG:

• NME Awards, Brixton Academy London

• ICE Totally Gaming, ExCeL London

• Hillsong, Apollo Theatre London

Resolume work:

• Egg Nightclub, London - Bob Sinclair & many more

• Camp & Furnace, Liverpool - Chris Kamara quiz

• Nghtwrk, Chester

• Warehouse Nightclub, Leeds

• Mansion Nightclub, Liverpool

Other experience consists of Green Hippo control at Heaven nightclub, London where the video content is triggered live using the Avolites Sapphire. Knowledge of setting up projection screens, rigging projectors and using vision mixers. I have also completed my Brompton training.

Nghtwrk

Being the Technical Director for Nghtwrk, I organise, design and sometimes operate the video production. Depending on the artist booked for the event, I occasionally hire a video wall and Resolume operator to add to the production values.

I ensure the video content is to the Director’s taste, create the name images for the lineup and liaise with the artist for any custom content they might have.

Fluid

This project was created in 5 days from scratch. I took the Technical lead on the project ensuring everyone in the team had a role, the equipment worked and the project was delivered.

The setup was simple with me setting up and blending 2 projects together in Resolume. The content was generated live with Notch, triggered by a midi keyboard and fed through Ndi into Resolume.

Creative England & VMC

These two events were part of my University course. Using the latest technology, we provided the client with an interactive Roe video display using Isadora as the backbone and an Xbox Kinect for the tracking. We each created custom visuals for the events.

Kendrick Lamar Concept

This was a quick demo for fun. My vision was to have video walls on tracks and have the freedom of moving in 4 points giving a wide range of configurations. Concept created in Disguise.
