My pyrotechnic background consists of when I worked on Manchester Pride 2018 where I and Mick Fletcher installed CO2 and Galaxis G-Flames for the artists Sigala. This was my first time firing special effects and since then, I have used and fired special effects for various events and festivals. While also doing my practical safety awareness course with the Association of Stage Pyrotechnicians.
A common example is when I hire CO2, streamers and confetti cannons for the brand Nghtwrk. I install these effects myself and fire them safely at the event.
My highlight on pyrotechnic work so far is working on the 2019 Creamfields show, Swedish House Mafia where the team I was working with installed 5 100ft flames for the show.
Most recently, working for Reach Special FX, I programmed a large variety of special effects to a timecode track on an Avolites console.
